My experience with the 5 element program. My life has been altered to reflect who I am and want to be. To start I had lost my job and decided to start a business growing organic sprouts. I was a network administrator or computer guy. Switching to such a different field of work was a big leap. Well I was lucky enough to join facebook and hook up with Andrew Morrissey. He invited me to participate in a qigong research project. Well I have been a qigong practitioner/instructor for a while and was very interested since my life was in such a flux. I was asked to sincerely practice a 5 element program of qigong forms, still and moving. The program allowed me to delve deep into my essence and release the pent up stresses that kept life in a rut. My life now is a vibrant explosion of experience, living on the edge of my comfort zone taking action not just doing the motions.
In doing these forms I was able to understand and feel what I wanted and what I did not . When you get out of your head and into your body clarity is one of the byproducts. I was lucky in that I have a loving partner in my sweetheart Mary. She started doing some of the meditations with me and was moved to go deeper with me in the meditations and we had some real breakthroughs for her and for me. With forgiveness, fears, anxieties and stresses all dealt with in a loving manner Life takes on a wondrous feeling. We were able to start to feel our way through life instead of thinking. Life a wondrous thing that if we live it the joy is over whelming but if we let life live us it can be drudgery. Thanks Andrew
You know they say the eyes are the doorway to your soul and I found that to be authentically true of Andrew. The first thing I noticed about him is his eyes, how penetrating it was, how I could see into his being, how familiar it was. I felt an instant kinship. I met him at a photography workshop hosted by Azriel Cohen.
Andrew was documenting Azriel through the awesome art of video making. It was great timing because I have been wanting to learn to capture a story through this form of art. We both talked about our passion for creating personal and social change through multimedia. I asked him to teach me and he did, without any hesitation, despite his busy schedule! Here is my first attempt at interviewing through the use of video.

I highly recomend Andrew, I think he brings a great softness and reality to his practice. It's more like practicing with your friend, as apposed to training with a Teacher who is trying to with hold every thing from you. It's more like a travel experience which is a lot more full filling than not being sure of what you are doing or whether there is going to be any result...the result is this...the result is NOW!!!

Andrew Morrisey is a divine masculine archetype. He has been working for many years inspiring men to re-connect to their divine sensual and liberated being
through many methods, his first and most empowering method by BEING.
Well Being Instructors training in Koh Chang was my first experience with Qi Gong. Though being an instructor was not my intention in the first place, I emerged with such an empowering feeling that I may teach it indeed, to anyone who wants to get involved with Qi Gong. Yet, this feeling is still just a reminder for me what I have gone through in these 21 days.
But without Andrew’s incredible receptivity, caring attention, and open-hearted friendly attitude, it is hard to think that this program could achieve that much. After the first day he let us take the lead without any hesitation, taught us Qi Gong as a play, made us love Dao Yoga, and went through his own individual adventure in front of our eyes without putting a teacher’s mask, showing what he feels as he feels, at times being an example of what is being in the present without forgetting past and future, yet not being trapped by neither of them. Being one of the five elements which made our training group, including our vagabond dog Jing Smith (he also changed and tamed as such that he never missed a class and began to sleep at our doorstep at nights) and going through my individual experience, yet at the same time becoming an observer of the transformation in the other four elements without being detached from them was an incredible experience that I will never forget...

As a friend of Andrew the Director of the Universal Heroes Group, I can say that this man knows what he really wants; he is focusing his energy on his goals and goes for them and doesn't waste his energy on useless issues, he is keeping himself in good shape physically, emotionally and mentally. I can say he can do it for his clients.
Let's not forget if Andrew is capable to love himself so he can love others as well. By helping and mentoring people, by giving them the ear to listen to carefully, the mind to think deeply, and the heart to care sincerely. It's all about helping others to make their lives worth every minute and create the kind of life which they really want and deserve.

Until now, I have never fully seen the reasons for blogs. First off, many of my friends might not be interested enough to follow my blog, so I refrained from doing so, even while on my travels. Secondly, sometimes I feel blogs can come off rather pretentious, for it seems that often times bloggers believe the content of their blogs to be far superior because they have some groundbreaking and unique perspective on the world.
Well, this summer, while traveling through Thailand, I ran into a man by the name of Andrew Morrissey, a fascinating man finding his truth through the Chinese form of meditation, Qi Gong. We met in a small cafe on the Thai island, Ko Chang, and spent several hours discussing our similar beliefs concerning extremely broad topics such as the universe, the state Man finds itself in during our time, and the search for a personal truth as we wander the paths of life. Throughout the day he kept bringing up his idea of a game, in which he and his team act as universal mentors to the participants, enabling a breach in their self and allows them to open up and excel to their full potential as human beings (more info found in the link provided above). I was humbly invited to join in the game under the Spiral Sponsorship program, which is also on his website, and gratefully accepted. There is a reason I met Andrew that day in Ko Chang, I intend to follow all the opportunities that open up to me because of this circumstantial meeting, and discover where they lead me.
With writing as my release, as my diddy-diddy, blogging offers a medium in which people all around the world that share similar interests can interact. And now, as I am part of the game of Universal Energy and Abundance, connected with people all around the world who are sharing the experience, it is time to start sharing my thoughts and ideas as I begin to forage my path, laying my bricks, and use technology to my advantage.

Teacher Training, Thailand 2010
Through the past 4 years I have been through a personal process. Everything, on every level in my life is changed. It has been a long journey. A journey that send me from Norway (where I live) to a teacher training course in Koh Chang, Thailand.
It was all a casualty (or not?), I have never done Yoga, Qi Gong or Meditation before. These all have attracted me, but in the same way seemed a bit boring, to be honest. My personality is stimulated by fast, strong and powerful exercises as mussel training, cycling and skiing, running and other trainings with music. But I had the feeling of a missing link in my life.
On the 3 weeks Teacher Training Course, I went from being confused and worried to feeling more completed. Before I started, I wondered why my life had taken me through different experiences. My head was full of thoughts and questions. Because of all my questioning and no answers, I also was tired, worried and felt lost about my future.
Through the first week on the course I felt bad. I struggled to get up 6 o clock in the morning for meditation. I didn’t see the point with Qi Gong (it was so slow??) and I was very hungry because I also followed a fasting program and changed my eating habits. On the last two weeks, I felt much better. I started to be very creative. I got some answers,... which seemed so logical now! Yoga, Meditation and Qi Gong were easier.
I understood that it was all about energy, and I was able to focus on these things without all my confusing thoughts. I started to laugh again (!) and I didn`t have all the craving for unhealthy foods and drinks. I ate fruit, vegetable and drank a lot of water/juices instead of soda and diet coke. After the course I went back to Norway clearer in my mind. The most important thing I learned was to listen to my inner voice and use my intuition. I will never ignore it anymore.
I have started a new path in my life now. After finding out what I wanted in my life, I started the action. I knew all this before, but I didn’t trust myself and was afraid to fail. In my first three weeks in Norway I have found myself a new apartment and already moved in. I also applied for the International Theatre Academy in Norway, went to audition and I was selected to begin to study there in August. (Last time I studied was 13 years ago, 3 years on economics.) It is also important for me to integrate Qi Gong, Meditation and Yoga in my future project.
I am in a way my best guide to know what to do, every minute, to make my life better for myself (and then to others). My taste in every level has changed. I like clean, pure and real things. Such as; clothes, jewellery, where to live, what to eat, who to spend my time with. My family and friends are in focus for me in the future. I see everything clearer and go in the future with no more “foggy” glasses. Is all this happening just after 3 weeks with some Yoga? –No, it was a long process.
But for me to do the Teacher Training Course in a period of my life where I was questioning a lot, was the smartest thing I ever did. Every day for the rest of my life I have to “work” hard focusing on healthy eating, exercising, and be aware of my mind set. Some days I am lazy and skip it, but one thing I never skip anymore is to be honest to myself ...

I stumbled across Andrew Morrissey -- a Universal Mentor -- while he was running a casual class in North Melbourne. Andrew's deep understanding of the performance of life, his sobering commitment to quality, awareness and striking a balance between the important elements of life -- covering food, living-space and how we use our personal energy -- are of tremendous value to anyone feeling ready to reflect upon their current lifestyle.
I found Andrew to be non-judgmental, truly caring and fully committed to building and nurturing my own foundation of balance with nature and in developing greater awareness of the world around me. With his ongoing focus on awareness and reflection, I am equipped and have the self confidence to follow opportunities for growth both in my work as a life coach and in my personal life.
Over the past years I have developed a strong friendship with Andrew and whole-heartedly endorse the value of his reflection weather it be through a 5-minute chat or ongoing-mentoring.

I attended Andrews teacher training workshop for 21 days in Thailand. After two months of being home and back into my day to day life I can say the skills I
learn't with Andrew have definitely made my busy life much easier to cope with. I highly recommend the teacher training course to anyone who wishes to take a step toward to a present and healthy
lifestyle.
Thank you Andrew for all your wisdom.

Dear Andrew, I just want to say thank you for being such a beacon of light in this perceived dark world. You inspire us all to seek the stillness that ultimately manifests our true desires. We all need reminders some times, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us reignite the flame within our selves. I shine my light for those around me but even I need to be rekindled once in a while. Blaze on dear one!
