This is an interesting question that some one asked me this morning after a coming back from practicing Qi Gong in one of the old temples in Bangkok. “Greetings. Question for you sir. In many books on Taoists they are often referred to as immortals. Could you explain how that translates?”
Vampires and Dracula has been a fascination topic both in books and movies with people for centuries, the word Dracula is derived from Dracon or Dragon which is the representation of the spirit and I believe these stories have been passed on from these mysterious mountain men from Asia who from the perspective of most can live forever.
Google the Good Luck man, a 250 year old herbalist from china who has the documents to prove his existence. He joined the army at a ripe old age of 70 and was a master of Qi Gong and herbalogy. There is Methuselah and he is mentioned in the bible to have lived until he was 997 and this is not the first time I have heard of this. My Dragon Gate Qi Gong teacher had met many men living mostly on Qi in the mountains of China and Tibet.
Ok well I find this part fascinating about my research is that in my consistent development in Qi Gong and Meditation, I have come to know that my spirit lives forever and I don’t see death as a sad event but rather just another adventure. My understanding of my physical body is that it can also live for a very long time, in the right conditions and the right understanding of how to breathe, eat and keep a balanced life. Avatar also touched on the theme of being able to project your consciousness into another form and conspiracy theorist would argue that the technology of passing to another human body is already here.
I am fascinated with the possibilities of living forever, and I am inspired and boggled by the possibilities, I am not really spending much time entertaining this thought, but it all helps me get inspired to continue my research into spiritual technologies, meditation, Qi Gong and the Quest for the Holy Grail and the Knights Templar.
