No Style is My Style

There are so many different styles around and everyone is saying that 'Mine is the Best'. The reality is if you need to go to a teacher or a school this is fine but ultimately any form of moving meditation with help you in finding your own unique style of Meditation. When looking for a technique for yourself please keep in mind - don't focus on the way the form looks but rather on how it makes you feel.

I have done the Guru trip, my ego needed this, but let me save you some pain: when you see a teacher or DVD and you think "Oh that just looks too simple",  then that usually is the best one. 80% of what I have been involved with is a waste of time, this is why I am so engrossed in a Taoist way of moving because it’s something I will be doing even when I am 150 years old. Again don't focus on how the form looks but rather on how it makes you feel, feelings to me are the most important thing in my whole world.

Research as much as you can with your library, with your temple, with your being, trust in yourself and trust in your journey, trust in your feelings when you find a technique that makes you feel good and allows you to get into the zone, and then listen to that. When you decide that you want to be healthier, the most important thing is to remember that you are not learning anything new, but rather you are unlearning many things.
